Mónica Morales Masís

Monica Morales-Masis is newly appointed (December 1st, 2025) Full Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology (NL). Prior to this appointment, she served as a professor at the University of Twente (NL). From 2013 to 2018, she was a postdoctoral researcher and later team leader of the TCO group at the Photovoltaics and Thin-Film Electronics Laboratory (PVLab) at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.

She earned her Ph.D. in Physics from Leiden University (NL) in 2012, following earlier studies in the United States and Costa Rica (UCR). She has also been a visiting scholar at the National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS) in Japan and at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) in the United States.
