Ana Agüera

Born in Almería, Spain (1964). Degree in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) by the University of Granada (1987); PhD by the University of Granada (1995) and currently full professor at the University of Almería since 2010. Head of the research group: “Environmental Analysis and Water Treatment (FQM-374)” since 2013. She is co-director of the Functional Unit of “Environmental Analysis” from the Solar Energy Research Center (CIESOL; https://ciesol.com/) and director of the Chair “Cátedra Aqualia del Ciclo Integral del Agua (https://catedraaqualia.eu/)”. She currently coordinates the PhD program “Advanced Chemistry” of the University of Almeria.
